Although we are a small firm, we believe that this is an advantage to our clients. The personal nature of Perennial Advisors Group allows us to give our clients the individual attention that is often overlooked by larger firms. The outcome is peace of mind when it comes to your investments and future plans.

David Carpenter

Founder, CEO

I started this business in 1998 with a concept to help people with their financial success. Now all these years later, I feel that we have been able to combine an advanced level of financial expertise, seeking to provide clients with a positive investment experience, and peace of mind.

In my prior career, I worked in accounting and treasury roles with various companies both locally and overseas. In the 80’s I traveled around the world during a two year assignment living and working overseas. It was indeed a life changing experience.

In terms of education, I am a Cum Laude graduate of Ohio University with a dual major in accounting and finance, I also hold a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley University and an advanced degree certification as a Master Personal Financial Planner from Bentley.

Outside the office, I enjoy boating and fishing off Cape Cod, as well as hanging out with family and friends. Good wine is often a companion as well as my wonderful girlfriend Rose.

I am so lucky to have found this work. My passion for helping people makes it a rare day that I feel like I am working…which is truly a gift.

Kelsey Brennan CFP®

Financial Advisor

I joined Perennial in 2015 and I obtained my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2019. My goal is to help our clients feel confident about their financial decisions and to provide peace of mind when it comes to their investments.

Prior to joining Perennial, I attended Bentley University where I received a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics. I also completed an integrated double major in Global Perspectives. During that time I interned at two different Investment Advisory Firms. My experience in those positions granted me a first look into the investment world, and they were what drew me to the financial planning profession.

Outside of work I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family & friends. On a normal day you might find me out for a jog, cooking up a new recipe, or enjoying a good book.

Kelly Powers

Office Manager

After years in corporate America and formerly owning a small retail business, it was time to shift gears and seek new opportunities.

I joined Perennial in 2016, where I am able to combine my strong administrative background and my love for people into my Administrative role. Attention to detail and communication is key, whether you are a new or existing client, my job is to ensure your experience with us exceeds your expectations.

I understand the importance of client relationships and enjoy getting to know our clients and assist them.

I love the small, relaxed, friendly environment here at Perennial where every day brings something new. The diversity and opportunity to learn and grow is both welcoming and refreshing.

A wife, and mom to 2 fur babies, I am insanely compassionate about life and obsessively grateful! Spending time with my husband and family is of the utmost importance. Working out, hiking with our dogs or simply chilling on the couch makes me happy!

Doing what you like is freedom, liking what you do is happiness.
